- Choose your background colour
Your personalised design can be printed in blue, green or pink to match your own style or preference. These colours are the most image friendly colours recommended by APACS (the cheque clearing body) to ensure that your cheques clear without incident.
- Specify your layout
The chextreme range allows for flexibility of layouts. We acknowledge that not everybody uses the same software package, and that print positions vary considerably amongst providers, so rather than offering a restrictive single layout, we create the layout to suit your software. Just supply us with a sample of your existing cheques or a printout of your print positions and we’ll do the rest.

If you are ordering base stock for the purpose of infilling beneficiary and amount details on behalf of a customer, APACS require that a sequential order number (differing from the cheque serial number) is added as an aid to creating a full audit trail. This can be printed at the top of the cheque on the face or the reverse. Please state your preference.
- Invisible modulus numbers
Chextreme offers the additional security and peace of mind of modulus numbering printed in invisible UV ink, providing a unique method of verifying that a cheque is genuiune. One call to A1 can immediately confirm the authenticity of a cheque.
- Additional number
Repetition of the serial number on the remittance portion of the cheque. Available on cheque remittances only.
