July 2007 - A1 installs new digital press A1 Trade Print Services has strengthened its digital department with the installation of a new Xerox DocuColor 5000 digital press with a Creo Spire CXP50 Color Server.
May 2007 - A1 named Trade Manufacturer of the year A1 Trade Print Services were named Trade Manufacturer of the Year at the annual IPIA awards in Daventry on 17th May 2007. The winner was chosen by fellow members.
January 2007 - A1 install new hologram applicator. A1 Trade Print Services have expanded their hologram application capacity with the purchase of a Dimuken Hologram encoder. The DC8614-HS was installed in December and is capable of running two independent streams of registered holographic foil. It can also be used in conjunction with other offline finishing machines to provide an efficient finishing line.
October 2006 - A1 launch Chextreme. A1 have created a new range of personalised cheques with the aim of creating a convenient cost effective solution to ordering secure documents. The chextreme range of products enables your customer to select and personalise a design of their choice to create a unique, secure product at the right price. Additional security features such as holograms, secure numbering and intricate security designs all come as standard.
1st February 2006 - A1 achieve NICPAS accreditation. Hot on the heels of BS7799 accreditation last month, A1 followed up with accreditation to NICPAS (Nigerian Cheque Printers Accreditation Scheme).
5th January 2006 - A1 achieve BS /ISO 17799 accreditation. A1 Trade Print Services have been registered to the APACS (the banking industries standards body) Standard 55 accreditation. Standard 55 is an Information Security Standard, incorporating BS / ISO 17799 (soon to be ISO 27001), to which all APACS accredited printers must comply as part of the continued fight against cheque fraud and the misuse of sensitive information
